How does alot of overhang become a hinderance? I am in the Nuke program, hoping to
be a Nuke MM. The IS-3M has a small 3" idler which I think might be somewhat of an
issue with a 1" pitch. I might have to go 1/2" or 3/4" for the pitch. Also the
tracking tabs are very small, maybe 1/4" tall. Does the track and tabs have to be
scale or just close? Does the "looks good from 20 feet" logic prevail. Are small
tracks too much work? Does intralox have a belt or chain that would work?

The only issue with a long barrel overhang is it can be a hindrance in close-in
fighting.

At 1:10 scale the 4.5" turret height is sufficient. That+s about how much height I
have in the T34 turret. The shape is another matter. It will need to be fabricated
in fiberglass. Fitting a magazine will be challenging.

I was in Great Lakes for a year while doing my A and C schools. Are you in the nuke
program?

3/4" wide as in 3/4" plywood should work fine.

I would recommend 1/2" wide tapered tracking tabs. That+s what was used on the
original TTS and its working fine.
