Hi
All,
I just received my
two EV warrior motors. They came with mounting rings and with cables that
plug into the motor and onto battery tabs. A quick test with my old (can't
believe it still has a charge) battery shows the motors are in working
order. So, this weekend (if not before) I will be starting on the drive
module that will sit in the lower hull of my tank! woohoo!
Hopefully, the sprockets and hubs will get here tomorrow.
I do have a few
questions ...
1) how did you
cut the keyway into your 5/8" bar stock? did you use some special table
saw blade or take it somewhere to have done?
2) what kind
of pulley wheel are you using in the drive train and where did you get it (and
that twist lock belt too)? I think I remember someone saying at an
autoparts store ... if so, what exactly should I look for?
tia,

saddle" Kraack
