Great. Like I said - I hate sticky stuff.
Beads are lips on the inner edges of tire side
walls that seat into rims. Most beads contain
hoops made of metal wire or thick cord molded
internally. I slit my tires about 1/2 inch
outside the metal hoop in the bead to leave some
sidewall. I used a Stanley knife with a new
carpet hook blade. Be careful.
Track for small tanks may be as narrow as
2.5 inches while track for 1/6 Panthers, Tigers,
M1 Abrams, etc. may be up to 4.5 inches
wide.
You may become famous as the developer
of the Butts Bicycle Tire Track System (BBTTS).
Have fun,
Joe
