I have seen and measured mini skid steers
from Ditch Witch, Gehl and Ramrod
(Taskmaster) but their tracks are all about
twice as big as our biggest tank. Your
note sent me on a Google trail that also
found mini skid steers from Kanga
and Toro. I am also aware of the old
tracked carriers/dumpers from Honda
and Grillo.

The Toro Dingo 413 looks promising.

I have requested prices on tracks and
drive sprockets, and will try to find a
Toro dealer that carries contractor
equipment this weekend. Unfortunately,
I live in Appalachia and we are not as
up-to-date as The Land of Pleasant Living.

Based on past info from Honda, Grillo and
Ditch Witch, I estimate that these rubber
tracks will cost about $300 each.

If anyone has a Toro dealer in their area
that carries Dingo contractor equipment,
please try to measure:
1) diameter of the drive sprocket
2) length from the drive sprocket axle to the take-up wheel axle
3) width of the track

You can locate your nearest Toro dealer using

Kurt G, you should know all about these mini skid
steer loaders with all that construction in your back
yard.

This may turn out to be another wild goose chase,
but someday we may find the Holy Grail - cheap
durable lightweight rubber tracks that fit our tanks.

Thanks,
Joe
