Thank you. I was building it in small bursts, so no progress has been made 
since the last update pics. Given the metallic nature of the beast, I was 
relying on the welding and machining equipment at my work to build it (on my 
own time, of course). Unfortunately, due to circumstances at work (i.e. 
management changes), working on 'personal projects' with company equipment 
is no longer tolerated. One of those $99 dollar wire welders won't cut it 
for me, and I do not have the $1000+ I would need to buy a decent used TIG 
welder. I do have a set of books detailing how to build shop machinery on 
the cheap (god bless Dave Gingery), but the time frame involved is daunting. 
Not to mention I would need to clean the garage first so I had somewhere to 
do it (the horror!!).
Needless to say, the project is in limbo until I can figure out what I want 
to do. My kids didn't seem to mind though, they seemed to like using it as a 
giant demented skateboard.
