The English also got their WW1 tanks out of the Museum at Bovington and placed them as static defences in case of invasion after Dunkirk.

KCM have probably had their day in Tank combat !

I have a Hetzer with 2 KCM's and while it goes OK on Tarmac Concrete soil and lawn length grass I have found it does not have the power to cope with long tufty grass , it can just drive in a straight line and turns only with great difficulty and cannot do a neutral turn.

[4 KCM's in the supply vehicles have sufficient power]

Mountings/drive are easy especially if you get the wheels that came with the toy they were attached to.

Hi just got my internet working and I have a question, I am doing a 7.5cm Pak40/4 auf Raupemsclepper Ost (Sf) (I was originally going to build a FCM 36) powered by kidcar motors with no gears reduction, directly attached to the drive sprocket(remember K.I.S.S.) how has every one else hooked their motors up in this case like in the early T001 Tiger and T016 Pershing?

Also interesting piece of information, supposedly the french still had a few old MkV* they were using early in WWII.
