In the Netherlands there is a big difference between being on your own
land/property and in the streets. As long as you stay on privately owned
terrain you can do pretty much whatever you like, as long as you don't
threaten public safety.
My uncle has a paintball field in his backyard, and lets his 12yr old kids
have paintball-fights on their birthday parties (as long as all safety
precautions are taken)
