This chain looks like it may perform better than
my Intralox chain because of better sprocket teeth.
You must order AT style that has tracking tabs
on the bottom.
I threw track, once late on Saturday and once
early on Sunday, before I realized that I had
bent my rear idler shaft. After I fixed the shaft
and tensioned the track again, it worked great.
Secondly, I was VERY happy about switching
to 24 VDC Makita drill motors. My Hetzer was
much faster than any other tank, and my
batteries were still very strong at the end
of each battle.
I believe that 24 VDC drill motors are great for
light tanks like Hetzer #T010 that weigh 70 to 80
pounds (32 to 36 kg). However, they may not
have enough torque for very heavy tanks like
the dread T-34 #T005 that weighs 120 to 130
pounds (54 to 59 kg).
Best wishes,
Joe
