Hello from down south

Hi guys,

 

Two new captains reporting for duty in Atlanta Georgia. I'm Lou and my stepson is Jordan, we will both be driving King Tiger tanks with the Porsche turret (cause it makes it faster, right?) :)

 

I bought the paper model (1/25) and just finished scaling it to 1/6 at the local kinkos. Plan on starting with a wood hull and fiberglass parts to get started, using the building pages for internals.

 

I noticed the Tiger (one?) of Franks has a lot of new components, most visable being the track wheels. Can someone post info on pros and cons. Also, one of Jordan's classmates fathers owns a conveyor belt manufactoring business, what is the result of using the belts in the tank pages versus using the treadmill belt, there was a concern over supporting the weight of the tank.
