Greetings Jim,

Without a pic, brand or link it is kind of difficult to be sure exactly
which of those 1/12 scale tanks you might be looking at. However, from
my own experience with one of those cheaper tanks it is like they say,
"You get what you pay for." The electronics were very substandard. Most
are sold as TOYS and even there they might fall a bit short. The
quality was more along the lines of those Wal-Mart Toy Department RC
toys. I didn't care because I was ripping the guts out anyway. If you
are looking for cost cutter RC replacements I don't think that you will
be very happy with these. A bit ironic, but in fact there is even a
site online that shows how to swap these stock tank RC's out with real
RC gear. --LOL
