Morgan,

1) Be brave.

Test the terminals yourself with a volt meter to
check continuity. Be certain to check for continuity
between the three terminals and the motor case.
You may need to scrape come paint off the case.

You can then answer your own question.

If you do not have a volt meter, get one. You
will need it.

2) Be curious.

Search the RC Tank Combat website.
http://www.rctankcombat.com/search.html

Search with Google.

There is a wealth of information already
available on-line. For instance, see
http://www.robotcombat.com/marketplace_ev.html

3) Be patient.

Your earlier post to the list was at 08:34 PM
8/28/2004 -0400, less than 12 hours prior to
this one.

You will find that most tankers on this list are very
willing to help new guys. However, do not expect
an overnight 12 hour turnaround for answers.

4) Answers to your questions are:

Use the two outside terminals. Standard spade
connectors will fit onto them. EV Warrior cables
are available from Industrial Liquidators at Ebay
items 3696208584, 3696194253 and 3696194055.

One of the terminals is internally connected
to the motor case. Consequently, you will
need to open the motors and cut the grounding
tab as shown at
http://www.teamradicus.com/bots/pal2/build/090601.asp
and
http://www.redneckrobots.com/ev/mod.htm
to prevent a short circuit when reversing motor
direction.
