Subject: Operation Southern Comfort
Priority: FLASH FLASH FLASH
Pursuant to OPSSECPLAN B-674-715.56c all members of the 4th Tri-Pact
Division are hereby ordered to report for deployment on 2004-08-27
1100EDT at Field Station W33. After an equipment check, the 4th
Division will rendezvous with members of Tyng Special Forces at an
undisclosed location in southern Maryland, at which point the combined
forces will advance towards the target location in Danville Virginia.
The objectives of this mission are to (a) introduce the hobby to a wide
range of spectators, (b) recruit interested participants and (c) have fun.
Although no hostilities are expected during the show-of-force exercise
on 2004-08-28, all vehicles must be ready for full, non-lethal
operations and must be made "kid-proof" as much as possible.
Furthermore, all participants are reminded to be prepared for exposure
to Agent-M (a non-lethal, yet painful noxious gas) while traveling in
confined spaces during the operation.
After a successful exercise in Danville, all forces will be granted two
(2) weeks R&R before proceeding north to Athens, New York, as part of
Operation Coxsackie Freedom on September 10-12, 2004. Further
information and instructions regarding that operation will be forthcoming.

Commander, Joint MAG Task Force
