Hi all

Knowing nothing at all about paint ball guns a box with a large lump of metal has arrived.!
Please see attached picture.
This is a ex-hire gun but appeared to be greased up [recent service ?] and has most of it's paint intact with signs of having been frequently dismantled,

Problem ?

The gun had the sliding bit [bolt ?] pulled back and when I pressed the trigger it fired , however I have now pulled the bolt back but the trigger is now floppy as if not connected to the bolt , is this normal ? without a gas bottle connected ?

Questions

I have a Soda Stream bottle that says on it 250 grams of E290 CO2 can this be used with the gun ? and in the tank ?
None of the tank mounted guns have the bottle directly connected to the gun.
Why ?
What do I need for a remote connection bottle - gun ends ?
