Hello,Paul,
i have a  sample machine and that is small enough to build into the tank,i
can easely manipulate sounds with it!
it is multi timbral so i can play 16 different sounds to gether at
once,looping etc.
so with a engine noise in the background i can put extra sounds, like
transmission noise etc making it like collage of sounds...
it is an old akai sampler and has good sound quality,but  at the moment
there are better and cheaper samplers at the market!
