No, I've got a new idea on tracks myself.
Inspired by the motorcycles and marine engines I grew up around, I'm using a bike chain type track, but the chain is 2 links wide, so I can use a sproket and not worry about gaps in the tread. And since I'm using sprokets, tensing the track isn't a big deal. But I'm going to have to use a belt gear system. So that shouldn't be a problem, since it's not friction drive, should it?

Personally I would power both ends of the track if you are going for the TTS friction drive , that way not all the power is being put into 1 set of wheels ? thereby increasing the friction area. regards paul At 04:50 27/07/2004, you wrote: >I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on electric >motors.
