Well, You have asked, and I will answer.

The Israel defence force converted alot of their older tanks into very heavy APC's for urban fighting. Some of them come from T-72's, some from T-34's, and some from Centaurions. It's not exactly a "Production" vehicle I believe, but they've been used in combat for decades.

This is the only picture I can find via google. And it's of the T-72 version. But I know for a fact thay have them based off of T-34's too.

It all depends on which side he's battling or how much cash he has ;-) Actually, by definition, all support vehicles are destroyed by a single shot. But, that doesn't mean he won't have fun anyway. Marty Hayes holds the record number of supply runs in a battle at 17 ... with a reliable tracked vehicle and some hard work, Amir could shatter that record (or die trying ;-) To answer your original question: there were plenty of T34 chassis' running around during the war as bull-dozers, mine-sweepers, and other utility vehicles. So, if you get it running, by all means put it on the battlefield and we'll find a purpose for it. (And, if you're still craving some "historical" reference, I'm sure one of our resident history buffs or google experts can also find a photo of a turret-less T34 that was still operational.)
