Hi guys I can confirm that the lower hull of the Hetzer tank has successfully completed it's first trials including about 10 minutes running at the UK Tanks clubs Northern meeting at Rufford Park Nottinghamshire Sunday 25 July. I put the costs of the tank so far at around £30 ! give or take and they [ and I ] where amazed at the performance and it's climbing ability , it was only let down by a early failure of the drive battery. You would have thought a battery from the dump would last longer than 15 mins it is 21 amp/hour after all LOL. Photos and video will appear shortly on my site. It is now 24 hours since it first moved and the silly grin is still on my face ! regards paul
