Okay - how does September 10-12 sound to everyone for the Invasion of
Athens, or the First Annual Peloponnesian War, or Operation Coxsackie
Freedom, or whatever you want to call it?
To get to the scene of the crime, get on the NYS Thruway headed toward
Exit 21B Coxsackie, at milepost 125 (give or take a mile or so), 125 miles
north of New York City, and 17 miles south of Albany.
Go through the toll booths, turn left, go 3/4 mile to the Coxsackie
Antique Center, just over the bridge and on the left.

There is a hotel about a quarter mile away - you'll pass it on the way
to the center.
BEST WESTERN NEW BALTIMORE INN
12600 ROUTE 9 W
West Coxsackie, NY
Phone: 518-731-8100
Fax: 518-731-6266
There are several good restaurants - my favorite is Red's (a bit
expensive, but very good food), but there's also Marco's Diner, Paul's
Pizza and Pasta, Sharon's, The Mongolian Buffalo Carcass or whatever the
hell it is, all within about a mile. A bit further away are The Quarry
Steakhouse, The Pegasus, and Reed's Landing.
There's an Ace hardware store in Coxsackie, but they won't have what you
need (maybe). I have no idea where to refill CO2 tanks locally.
Questions?
Bill
