Hi all Steve as I build for pleasure and not for combat in the USA I can build what I like ! But I think a discussion is needed as to why the prototype rule was added in the first place. My take is that if a tank was built - tortoise was If it moved under its power - tortoise did and production was not done due to changes in policy/tank was a poor design - tortoise was it still ought to be eligible If on the other hand it only existed as a drawing or a wooded mock up then maybe not ? lets face it you are not sticking rigidly to any time scale or size scale [ i.e 36" or 1/6 scale] so slightly re-writing the no protoypes rule may get some different shapes onto the battle field. Mind you the SWAMPCAT isn't a scale anything [ I don't think] so where does that figure ? regards paul please not intending to stir up a hornets nest , just question the logic behind the rule !
