Due to building and battling schedules, I've been a little tardy in
posting some updates to the web site, but I'm happy to say that I've
made a dent in the backlog.
Our first European team "The Netherlands Tankers" (TNT) have a nice logo
and a list of team members posted at:
http://www.rctankcombat.com/teams/TNT/
I'm hoping that sometime this year we'll hear that they've shot a couple
hundred paintballs at each other, thereby encouraging the Brits to start
hostilities as well.
Nick Hoke has provided some more photos of his massive SWAMPCAT which
can be seen at:
http://www.rctankcombat.com/armored-cars/AC003/
According to Nick, its status is "still behind schedule, under-funded
and over-budget" but isn't everything in the hobby!!
Since Will's SU-100 has already battled in 4 battles, I thought it was
time to give it an official designation as Tank #026, located at:
http://www.rctankcombat.com/tanks/T026/
More photos will be forthcoming the next time I have the camera in the
shop. Hopefully he'll operate T026 longer than he operated T002 and
T017. (Will has a habit of building a new tank instead of just fixing
what's broke ;-)
