T005's transmission uses 3L series pulleys (3/8" wide belt) on the EV Warriors. I
filled the pulley bores with epoxy past and then bored them out with a 8mm bit.
It's been working fine so far. My 35 series sprockets were sourced from wmberg.com.

Last year I used two 18amphr batteries per battle, swapping batteries out about
halfway through the battle (the tank holds one battery at a time). This year I'll
have three for each battle. I like to run around and burn the amps!

Are garden tractor batteries deep cycle, or starter batteries? You want a deep
cycle rated battery for this application.

I would think two 1/4 scale servos would be a better choice for moving the mount
around in a tank destroyer. How much articulation are you planning for, 10 to 20
degrees in either axis? I'm using a 1/4 scale servo on my elevate - works great.
On the vertical axis, make sure you counter balance the marker with a spring or a
weight on the barrel (a spring is preferred) to lesson strain on the servo.
