Hi Sonny brar I was pondering a gas engine as well in the beginning of planing my tank and was leaning more toward a weed eater type engine
with electric start  first off ya gotta slow that engine down have you thought about doing it hydraulically? that way you don't need to gear it down but by using a hydraulic pump with the right gpm gallons per min and a directional valve you can electronically control the solenoids of that valve to steer left right an forward ,backward you can also use your servos to do it also if your valve is manually operated sending the oil to two hydraulic orbital motors driving each track
