Hahaha! Ill pretend to be American then ;) Hiya fellow Dutchman!
Anyways, I am ashamed to admit this is the first time I use this
email-based type of communication, and am already worried about the amount
of email I'm receiving. Ill survive though ;)
Although my father is in the Dutch military, in the maintenance division
(Please help with the translation Marc? Technische Dienst) he worked on
the procurement side of the Dutch army as well (Apaches & Javelin). He
worked with Leopards and Im thinking of choosing a Leopard as my first.
On the other hand: Im not a modeler, Im into it for the technology :) I
already have the RC equipment. I will probably look for an easy design
first: Square box, simple track system and work from there. I did some
mechanical engineering at college before switching to IT, it might come in
handy.
My list of decisions:
1. Choose hulldesign and material
2. Choose tracksystem + suspension + motor
3. Test the combination
4. Start working on looks.
