Darren,
       All of the different speed controller setups
are listed in the" how to" area of the main site. How
many amps does he require? I ran the EV's with a 60
amp fuse for surge protection. Even when the motors
were under extreme load the was not any problem. My
tank uses the Tri-Pact controller .
