That's a good idea thinking of it as turbo.  I'm 
going to set it up to run 12v standard then either 
add another 6v or 12v for high speed.  The bulk of 
the maneuver current will come from my main 12v 
supply then I can use a smaller amp-hr series batt 
for my 'turbo' supply.  Bleeding the turbo to nothing 
wouldn't be catastrophic then...
