A denial of service attack won't be your biggest problem ... getting the 
  electronics to work reliably will be a big hurdle.  High-amp, 
high-temperature and high-shock environments are not the best place for 
electronics.

Besides, once you get everything working, you'll still have to worry 
about guys like Will sitting in the middle of the field hitting 
everything that he aims at ;-)
