Amir,
The EVs have an 8mm hardened steel shaft, with a hole drilled through it
that is slightly smaller than 1/8" with a spring pin through it. The
pair of EVs that I bought came with a roller assembly that had a steel
bushing that was 8mm ID and 1/2" OD, with a slot on either end to mate
up with the spring pin on the motor.
By cutting that bushing in half, I was able to use each half to mount a
pulley/sprocket with a 1/2" bore to each EV motor. I knocked out the
metric spring pin and drilled out the whole to be exactly 1/8", so I
could use a longer pin.
If you didn't get a similar bushing, you can make one by drilling an 8mm
hole in a 1/2" diameter rod (bronze, brass, steel, or plastic) and
cutting a slot on one end to mate with the spring pin. Then, you can
either pin the pulley/sprocket to the shaft (the most reliable
attachment) or can use a set screw (through the bushing) to hold the
pulley/sprocket in place.
Hope that helps.
