Joe et al,
Cold? It was so cold the other day that the water in the dog dish froze
in the kitchen. The guy on the radio said "If you have a brass monkey on
your porch, you may want to consider bringing it inside..."

Tank update: I've started work on the tank with the paintball
guns. Mostly because I got a lathe for Christmas. The prototype will be
made of UHMW polyethylene plastic (wild stuff, that) - if it works well
enough, it will be put in service, and if it doesn't, I'll make subsequent
versions from aluminium. I am continuing to design the gun control system
so the two guns act as one gun without being difficult to control.
I was trying to decide if I wanted to paint the tank as a British tank,
or a captured British tank in German service, but then I figured you guys
would probably just repaint it anyway...
The track that Joe sent me is going to work very well, I think. Thank
you again, Joe!

EXPO: I would very much like to be there! I will try, but I can't make
any guarantees. With luck, I'll be able to combine the trip with a visit
to my sister in VA - that should make it easier to get approval from She
Who Must Be ... Worshipped.

Including the wind chill, it hit -40°F here the other day. It's warmer
on Mars!
