Mr. Sommer,

I am indeed saddened to see that you still insist on tearing down others
instead of developing your own strengths. Mr. Tyng's gracious offer to
join forces with Tri-Pact to host the upcoming TechEx II was an outward
sign of his sincere desire to help others less fortunate than himself.

Clearly, those of us living in Maryland enjoy the benefits of high-tech
work-places, state-of-the-art roads, well-stocked shopping malls,
broad-band Internet access and, most importantly, abandoned toxic waste
fields for battling. As such, all Marylanders, including Mr. Tyng,
feel an obligation to extend welcoming hands to everyone outside of
Maryland to help foster this great hobby and way of life.

Pennsylvanians, Virginians and, yes, even Ohio-ians, are strongly
encouraged to come to TechEx II, where they will enjoy the beauty and
peaceful tranquility of Annapolis in the wintertime, while learning from
world-reknown experts about R/C tank systems. As you know, just sitting
in the workshop and experiencing the sights, sounds and smells of the
birthplace of R/C Tank Combat is enough to bring anyone to tears and
send them away with a strong desire to build their own armed vehicle.

Clearly, Mr. Sommer, you can turn this into an "us-against-them" debate,
but I think that you would be missing the point ... can't we all just
live in peace in the R/C Tank Combat hobby? So, please, make plans to
come to TechEx II and try to leave your hostilities born from
frustration back home. I'm sure that your fellow Pennsylvanians will
enjoy the trip more and, heck, you might as well.
