I must have the most agreeable wife in the world. One of the major
stopping points in building my tank is tooling. I believe in doing things
right for the most part and hate doing the job with the wrong tool. For
weeks I've been going on about getting a Brake/Shear for help in building
the skin of the tank, I could have used a jig saw but the results aren't as
precise or clean. For Christmas my wife got me a 30" Brake/Shear/Slip Roll.
Good thing she sprang for the extra 75.00 in shipping since it's almost
400lbs.
One more tank related note, my two 24v DeWalt Hammer Drill motors
finally came in. I am so close to assembling the drive system it isn't funny
and from there the body is only a few trips to the metal store away! I
sincerely hope you all had as good of a Christmas as I did.
Aahz.
