1) Although I have not seen details of the turret basket, I believe that the 1/6 scale Stuart M5 from Ultimate Soldier should be able to carry a Splatmatic XJ40 marker (0.40 caliber) based on the attached preliminary sketch in MS-Word. However, I am doubtful that you could get a 0.68 caliber marker and 4 oz CO2 bottle into that turret. 2) The last five sales of 1/6 scale Stuarts on Ebay have gone for $285, $270, $257, $250 and $248 with shipping ranging from $20 to $40. Last year one XJ40 cost $40 on Ebay before Christmas. After Christmas, I bought two for $40. While I do not intend to sound like the Grinch, you might be able to get into R/C tank combat for under $200 total if you wait until after Christmas. 3) Has anyone driven one these yet? I am curious about a) their top speed and b) how they perform on outdoor terrain.
