Interesting.

According to OnWar.com ( http://www.onwar.com/tanks/usa/fltm5a1.htm ) the 
M5-A1 Stuart was 4.84 meters long.  If I did my math right, that comes to 
15.9 feet.  At 1/6th scale, that would be 2.6 feet long, just over 31 inches.
