Paul,
The V-150 UN Armored Car runs four KCMs directly
coupled to 8" pnuematic tires.  The vehicle turns via
skid turning (aka Bobcat style).  The mixing of the
steering channels is done using the patented Tri-Pact
Diode Mixer.  With this style of turning all wheels
need to be powered.  Overall speed is good, it is
slightly slower than a the EV-Warrior powered tanks. 
However, I plan on upping the voltage of the drive to
18V.
