I use four scooter wheels, each with two standard 608 bearings
(8mm ID, 22 mm OD), carried on a 5/16 shaft for the tension idler
on Hetzer #T010. The wheels and the bearings work great.

You can get 50 of these bearings for $2 on Ebay
New 50 ABEC-1 InLine / Skateboard Bearings NR Item number: 3635395837

Sometimes skate/scooter wheels come with bearings on Ebay.

I will either use 76 mm skate wheels with these bearings
or 3 inch polypropylene wheels for the road wheels on my
new M1A1.
