Hi Aahz
I am going to trial skate bearings on the bogie wheels for the panzer IV I
finally decided to build (2 bearings per wheel for a total of 32 bearings) I
bought them off ebay (from US) for $12 bucks for 100( they still have
them ). The Abec rating is low, supposedly the higher the rating the faster
the bearing but a max of 34000 rpm should be high enough for me. Then again
some web sites say abec ratings are lies and crap!
Anyway the shaft diameter these bearings take are 8mm (dunno what what that
is in inches close to a 3rd of an inch i think) so ill see how they go. No
wet pasta hopfully
I am going to post pictures of the bogies, a suspention system that almost
copies the origional pz IV suspention and patterns for building the Pz 4
(hull only at this point) in any scale sunday night.
