Wow, I'd be afraid to try that. I have no experience with the KCM gearboxes, 
but they have plastic gears right? Even if they are metal, they were 
designed for the KCM motors. I have some experience with the EV's (I have 
two pair), and they are far more powerful (that's why we like them). I'd be 
afraid that the power of the motor itself would ruin the gearbox. Even if it 
worked, the first time one of your tracks jammed, the gearbox is likely to 
self-destruct.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have someone test it, then we would know for 
sure, but be prepared to sacrifice your gearboxes in the name of science.
