Will is still using the KCMs in his Panther.

Joe is using drill motors with their integrated gears.

Steve, John, Paul and myself are using EVs with two-stage chains/v-belts 
to achieve a 9:1 reduction when running at 12volts.

To my knowledge, nobody has attempted to marry the EVs with the KCM gear 
boxes, but it may be worth some experimentation because that would 
reduce the weight and cost associated with using the EVs.  Do you know 
off-hand what the gear ratio is for those gearboxes?

Nope.  Most of them are in the 80-100 lb range when battle ready.
