Hi Ray!

Regarding the turret rotation/barrel elevation system, have you
considered using some smaller battery operated screwdriver. I've
purchased one of those very cheap and small units, think it runs on 3.6V
or something which I will then fit to some kind of geararrangement and
power it using 6V. Some of these things are quite useful and can be
found very cheap, mine cost approx 9US$.
Elevation in my tank will be done using a ordinary servo with connected
to the barrel with two spring to dampen movement while driving.

Best regards

Fredrik

hi folks
i have been offshore ,we are also trying to get the slab for our house
poured lots of stuff i have to do for that , it has also been raining
every other day
so we are way behind were we wanted to be.
i am hoping to get my tank rigged up on saturday so i can measure the
amount of amps my kcm are pulling when turning the tracks...
i have also been trying to find something to bend around the curved part
of the rear of the panzer IV turrent armor ,
i tried soaking some thin plywood that didnt bend to well , maybe i
should have let it soak for several days longer.
i think formica would bend that radius but i really dont want to buy a
whole sheet for just the amount to go around the turrent .
been cruising ebay trying to find a turrent roate and elevation motor ,,
nothing yet .
walmart has a pretty cool wwII g.i. joe jeep for 40 bucks .. im trying
not to buy it .
how about some creative person ( that can spell ,so im off the hook )
making up a information flyer with the web site addy , that we could
print out and put up at local hobby shops , something eye catching .
