I agree with Frank 100%.  The 40 round limit worked very well.

This also worked very well.  Otherwise people will be continually
tinkering with their tanks on the field and stopping play at the slightest
hint of malfunction.

This might be useful in that I remember all three of the vaunted
Tri-Pact tanks cowering together in their home base on several
occasions.
