I use two 12 V, 17 Ah gel cell batteries in parallel. I get
about 45 minutes run time. They are 6.5 tall, 7 wide
and 3 thick. I carry them laying flat in the bottom of
my hull as shown in the attached photo.
I bought four from Mendelson Electronics www.meci.com but they
sold out of stock. You can often get them on Ebay.
