After the dread T-34 #T005 and the stealth Hetzer #T010
thoroughly whip Tri-Pact at the Battle for Middle Maryland,

and

after I finish my AML-90 armored cars for Kraack Attack I,

and

after I complete my journey toward insanity that has been
induced by R/C tank combat,

I would like to try building a Scorpion (76 mm or 90 mm gun)
http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/europe/scorpion.htm
which is very similar to a Scimitar (30 mm chain gun).
http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/europe/scimitar.htm

I have most of the pertinent specifications but I cannot find any
information on maximum armor thickness other than "classified",
"average of 25 mm" or "proof against 14.5-mm projectiles".

I have found the following Scorpion links
http://www.khakicorpsimports.com/scorpion2.html
http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/europe/scorpion.htm
http://www.nasog.net/datasheets/armour/tanks/Alvis_Scorpion_Reconnaissance_Vehicle.htm
http://www.indo.net.id/mbs/alvis_scorpion_reconnaissance_vehicle.htm
http://www.periscopeone.com/demo/weapons/gcv/recon/w0002696.html
http://wwww.ifrance.com/ArmyReco/europe/Angleterre/vehicules_legers/Scorpion/Scorpion_Angleterre_diaporama.htm

Do you know any Scimitar/Scorpion owners or enthusiasts
who could provide information on maximum armor thickness?

Best wishes,
Joe "I will drive carefully to Maryland" Sommer

P.S. Please forgive my colonial spelling for armour.
