Congrats Brian on getting T007 moving!
Looking forward to seeing you and your Tabby, excuse me - I mean Tiger,  this weekend.  :-)

Subject: IT'S ALIVE

The first power test of T007 at the Tomsa Tools Laboratories met with the expected success as T007 propeller itself under radio control across the laboratory (garage) floor. Forward in low range was achieved with only a slight fatherly push with the foot to overcome the slippage of wood drive wheels on wood tracks. Engineers and the technical staff will apply a coating of 'high adhesion tool handle coating' to the drive wheels to remedy this minor design miss sight.  Reverse worked surprising well without slippage.
The speed was unofficially recorded as a walking pace. High speed forward and maneuvering were not attempted at this time due to the confines of the laboratory. Outdoor testing was not performed either due to the low temperature, high winds lack of light and a tank transport vehicle was blocking the door.
Further refinements will be applied so T007 will have the best possible showing this weekend.
