Bryan, I'm planning on using this monster 24V pull solenoid I purchased from Jameco
electronics. Here's the link to the part,

http://www.jameco.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prmenbr=91&prrfnbr=3332&cgrfnbr=501&ctgys=

It's going to be fired using the following RC relay based switch,

http://www.capable.on.ca/rcstuff/onoff.htm

I've purchased enough parts to build ten of these switches. If the first one works
out OK I could build some for others for minimal cost. Of course, a servo
activating a switch will work fine also. That's what all the warship guys using
solenoid valves do.

Steve, T5
