New Guy here, needs some help

Question 1

        I have a Tamiya King Tiger R/C tank 1/16. It's the one with one engine and
a crappy gear box, two channel controller and the crappy speed switch.

        Does anyone know or have already modified this tanks with a good gear box,
speed controller and recommend a good R/C kit (4 channel, 4 Servo's)?


Question 2


        After this mod is done, I would like to make a bigger tank.  So, What R/C
kit should I get.  (4 Channel/6 Channel)?

I would like to have the following controls

Tank            Forward, Rev, left, right,
Gun             up, down, left, right, Fire, one extra switch (lights)


Questions 3

Should I buy AM for FM for ground. 75Mhz?
