The thought had crossed my mind as well, although i have no tank to build, and probably won't be building one in the near future, I'm sure others want a tank but can't build one due to time/complexity/lack of equipment/ect.  The question is, is there a large enough interest in this hobby for someone to start this type of buisness.  Another factor, how large do you want this to be, are you looking to just offer this service and see if anyone takes you up on it or do you want to have a little something like www.swampworks.com ?  As as side note I wonder if this new hobby will take up like model warship combat did?  As another side note, what happened to pittelli.com/warship?

Subject: Tank Kits
As I've been developing my T34 the thought has crossed my mind of offering this design (and others in the future) in kit form for those interested in the hobby that don't have the inclination or facilities to build something from scratch. This thought has been reinforced lately by the many posts for links to manufacturers of scale 1/6 AFV's (generally for very expensive exact scale reproductions). My question is would there be any interest in semi-scale tank kits for combat, and if so, what level of completions would you want to see? Would a hardware kit with full size templates work? Or would milled hull sections and completed tracks be required? What price would you be willing to pay?
