do you all think these motors will work ?, havent been able to find
kiddie car motors in stock , im wondering if these motors can go in
reverse...

  Ray, I think this is the unit I saw in the store here. I found it on a site called www.meci.com They are another surplus place and have stuff for building combat robots. THey have other motors on their site too.---Tom
12 VDC Gearhead Motor
This unique gearhead motor runs on 12 VDC at 1.6 A. The plastic geardrive has two 1/2" hex holes that turn in opposite directions at the same RPM. Distance between holes is 1-1/4" o.c. 55 RPM -at- 12 VDC. Overall gearbox size:4.36" (w) x 2.25" (h) x 1.75" (d)
