Not sure if my email got thru to you or not. There is a place near me that I get batteries and other goodies from. I seem to recall seeing some gearboxes (plastic) from those ride on Jeeps for little kids if that's what you are looking for? I think they were either $7.50 each or $19.50. They have motors too if you tell me what to look for I will see if they have it and for how much. They have a website. The place is called American Science Center. They have 2 stores here in northern Illinois. What kind of tank are you working on? I am working on a homebrew Russian BRDM2 armored car myself.
