I see you guys talk about how there are three possible gun sizes, but i was wondering what the use of these are. I know that tanks had guns ranging from the early ww2 tanks like the Renault FT 17 or PzKpfW 38(t) , the typed 95 light tank, and even the light tank m3 all had 37 mm guns. Now we have the tiger and king tiger armed with the massive for it's time 88 mm gun. And of course today we have the T-80's and similar variants armed with 125 mm guns, and the M1 Abrams armed with the good ole 105 and 120 mm guns. Now we know there is a signifigant difference in real war and combat with these gun sizes, the captured german FT 17's were knocked out in droves in late ww2, the typed 95 was useless against any kind of armor. But what does this do for our game, sure, we could have three or even two gun sizes, maby equivilant to 0-50mm and 50+mm, but this wont do anything i think. Say it takes 4 shots to knock out a tank with a big gun, but 5 to knock it out with a smaller one. this would be quite hard to measure on the battlefield, unless different colors are used. which is my suggestions, make the different size guns different colors. So no battlefield confusion comes about. And i had another suggestion i thought i should mention in a serious letter this time. I think we should add another tank class, as to go like this:
Class Mag Size Hits to Kock out Points Awarded
Main battle tank 40 5 1000
Light tank 30 4 750
Armored car 20 3 500
Artillery 10 1 250
Rocket Launcher 1 1 200
Support vehicle/other N/A 1 100
main battle tanks could be tanks armed with a 51mm gun or more, light tanks, 50 mm and less
